On my 96 Dakota Sport 3.9L, the fan keeps hitting the shroud. I replaced the shroud and the fan is hitting it again. When the truck is idling, I try moving the fan shroud around to see if it hits the fan and it doesn't. The shroud is nice a tight. Is there anything else I should look for that would cause the fan to hit the shroud? May be a bad motor mount? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Look at where the fan is rubbing. You may need new motor mounts. Wiggle the fan clutch and make sure it is tight and not wobbling. If its rubbing on top you might put thick washers as spacers between the top and bottom. Fill the opening with caulk. This is a cheap fix. Maybe you can shim up the bottom so the top fits correctly. If its rubbing on the side use a drill and make room to move sideways 1/8 inch. Look at the transmission mount it maybe sagged moving the front of the engine upwards. You could put a couple of washers under this to correct the problem.
First find out where its rubbing then correct the problem.
