Fuel Pressure Readings. FYIspackelman 07-26-2008, 07:51 PM I just replaced my fuel pump at 117,000 mi. Truck is running great. Starts like factory new. Fuel Pressure readings: Key on, no start = 55 psi Engine running normal, idling = 48 psi Engine running, pull vacuum line from fuel regulator = 55 psi Engine off, holds pressure for about an hour or two, goes to zero. Gauge is a Actron #cp7818 test kit, bought at Pep boys for $40.00. j cAT 07-27-2008, 12:05 AM I just replaced my fuel pump at 117,000 mi. Truck is running great. Starts like factory new. Not sure how I'm going to check the accuracy of the guage. But the truck does seem like shes back to normal. j cAT 07-27-2008, 10:59 AM I was thinking the same thing.
