On the switch for ac, led light doesn't work.Checked with dealership and they don't sell button. Has anyone found a replacement or a bulb # to purchase and where ?

you would have to tear the climate control module down into 50 peices and get behind the button, re-soldering a new LED in there. Not a very realistic option, it most likely cant be don't without breaking the unit. Go to a junk yard and find a climate control unit, they come out fairly easy just a few screws under the trim peice.

Pretty rare for an LED to burn out... You sure the compressor is actually coming on?

A/c works and compressor, but outside temp gauge is acting up.I wonder if it's got anything to do with all this?

if the outside temp gauge reads less than the desired temperature (in my canadian case, 15 C), the a/c will kick off..unless you are on defrost mode..so yes if you get an inaccurate reading it can cause problems.
