1990 325i oil pan [e30] removal

Popped a hole in my oil pan and need to pull it out. Will it come out without needing to jack up the motor? I'd rather do it myself than take it to the shop.

try JB Weld on the outside...just clean the exterior of the oil pan with gasoline or denatured alchohol and apply JB Weld to the wound...worked for me.....wife had a 2X4 hit the oil pan that fell off a utility truck in New Mexico (they denied they even had a truck in the area at the time but that was expected) anyway...worked....good luck

Yea I would just patch it up I did look up that JB weld stuff and its pritty inovative... but I have never cold welded anything before...
