535-howling tranmision, is that normal?

what else can I say, it howls, and loud to. is there any way to turn down its volume (because it seems to shift fine/its a manual trans) or am i going to go deaf

At first sounds like a classic throwout bearing(clutch release bearing)but they usually make the noise and at the same time start to become increasingly harder to shift.Otherwise I would guess that your clutch disc is slipping bad probably got some oil on it(grease or coolant).Hope this helps to narrow it down.
