Did Nissan offer a NISMO edition of 2003 Spec Vjetmaker 07-18-2008, 07:51 AM I recently bought a 2003 Spec V and it is badged with the NISMO logos. It certainly has an updated engine with NISMO headers, modified cold air intake, a CATback exhaust, and a few other features which appear to be non-standard (although I do not know exactly what is standard). The car just kicks butt and is a ton of fun to drive. Just trying to find out if maybe I had found something that was a rare car for an exceptional price. Thanks all. mn80228 07-18-2008, 08:29 PM As far as I know, Nissan did not offer a NISMO version of the Spec-V. They did offer a number of NISMO branded parts that you could buy from the dealership for the Spec-V. Including the intake, exhaust, some suspension parts like sway bars, and strut bar. Glad to hear you are liking the new spec. They are lots of fun, and I have been loving mine for over 6 years now. I have the 02' with the red inserts in the interior. And if you think a Spec is fun, start looking into what 9 pounds of boost would do to a 2.5 spec motor..... nismo_pilot 07-20-2008, 02:17 PM prolly some kid who installed all the stuff and the badges to show off his stuff nismo_pilot 07-20-2008, 02:18 PM i did see something interesting come into the dealership yesterday.... 2001 sentra 2.5 limited edition, i did not know they put the 2.5 in the sentra in 01, aparently they decided on a little test run before producing the spec, now thats kind of a rare car Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
