I own a 1997 Legend like yours here in Panama. It's not a "Euro" model, although that's just a trim level designation -- the engine, etc. is the same for all models. Mine is a KA. The KG is the model sold as the Acura RL in the States. The KA is sold in the Middle East, Northern Europe, Latin America and other general export markets.
I 've enjoyed driving this car for 5 years, although I did have a few problems with it that other owners I know have experienced too. THe front yellow fog light sockets often melt from the heat and short the $15 bulbs. Then, the A/C evaporator/condenser went out at 20,000 kms (cost US$800 to fix). At about 30,000 kms the electric door locks kept clicking down by themselves long after I had locked the doors. This was a minor problem but was annoying, particularly when I wanted to lock the doors while driving. After a while they'd stop clicking, so I never had it fixed.
Finally, at 60,000 kms the rear shocks gave out. A friend of mine who has a 97 Legend like mine had the same thing happened to his. Last month I chose to sell the car instead and now drive a Chrysler 300M.
All this may sound like a lot, and perhaps it is for a US$42,000 car, but I enjoyed my Legend. It is a smooth, powerful, dependable car that's enjoyable to drive. One point: I was a bit disappointed that a car this expensive would not come with standard passenger-side power door locaks, or a standard CD player. I had to pay the latter as an option. Shame on Honda. My wife's $32,000 2002 Odyssey has far more standard equipment than this Legend had.
With regard your question about re-setting the odometer, push down the trip button and hold it down (either in Trip A or B) until it resets to zero.
Good luck with your Legend.
