Problem!!!

Ok I have an '85 Cutlass with 455 under the hood. For some reason the car cuts off when put into gear. It also cuts off when you hit the gas fast while in park. What could cause this. Thanks in advance.

Maybe leaking metering wells in the Qjet.

Rochester carbs were kind of notorius for this behaviour, when they need rebuilt.

Have someone do a rebuild on it.

That would be a good place to start.
