Changing Fuel Pressure Regulator

Hey all, my car is still running like a piece, so I have been reading and decided to try a Fuel Pressure Regulator....even though I just had it replaced brand enw just over a year ago at the mechanic. Now here is what I ask, HOW do you get that damn thing off on a 2.4? I took a peek and there is a Torx bolt holding it in, how abouts do I get the fuel line off the regulator? What size is that giant nut on it??? I am going to do this repair myself, and need assistance! Cody should know ;-) Thank you once again !

Re: Changing Fuel Pressure Regulator

IF it's like mine, (just changed it :P) it's just the torx bit that holds it and that "giant" nut came of with a 24MM wrench...but you need two of em or at least something to hold the FPR properly while you thignten it or else your just going to destroy your fuel rail...(or overbend it or some other kind of thing you don't want happening to your fuel rail)

You know what? This just goes to show you that even new crap breaks or is defective. Unfortunately, my cavi breaks more expensive parts when I don't want it to, haha. Glad to see the car's fixed now. You got a nice lookin' cavi.
