Angry Need Help With My Car

Long story short my car was overheating, change the themostat, flushed the coolant & heater core, the raditor hose practically blew up, changed it and after we flushed out the heater core, when connecting the hoses back together the plastic hose connetor broke, but the car was still running without the connector on , and over heatin a little but not all the way into the red, changed the peice, went to start the car and now it wont start, it turns over strong but wont start. someone mentioned to me that i might have a blown head gasket but i am not sure. I know nothing about cars. how do i know if its a head gasket?? i cant drive it to a place to have someone look at it. Does any one have any idea what may be wrong??

Re: Need Help With My Car

Does the car have the 3100 series V6? If so, the coil pack is located at the top rear of the engine. Double check to ensure that no wires were removed during the hose change. Do this for other electrical items on the engine, as well.

Re: Need Help With My Car

yea it does have a 3100 v6, what side (left or right) would the coil pack be???

i did see that there was a lose wire with like a female end on it just hanging around where the heater core hoses are but someone said that there to test the PSI in the cooling system/air conditioning

It will be in the rear of the engine, at the top, in the middle. By 'rear' I mean the side closest to the firewall. It's above cylinders 2,4,6. You will see the spark plug wires attached to it.
