what's the biggest engine

i just bought an 85 riviera. it has a 307 in it now and i would like to know what the biggest engine i can put in it is, without having to change more stuff ( suspension, hood, etc)?

Your Buick has the Olds 307 installed? Little wonder you are looking for options. Unfortunately, anything you do to change is going to require you to change "more stuff" like exhaust, wiring, and fuel/transmission lines, and likely the radiator.

The E-bodies had Oldsmobile 350 (diesel) offered. Cadillac had the 368 Cadillac engine.

By 82 the Cad had shifted to the dreaded HT4100.
