Cavalier z24 2 door power windows help!!

Hi I have a 2003 z24 2 door and my drivers side window won't go up. It will go down and I hear the motor engage but when I push up it won't work and I don't here it engage. If the motor was no good wouldn't it stop altogether? Please help and what should I expect to pay to get it fixed if it is the motor.. Thanks single canadian mom.

Hey there I am Canadian too lol, Ontario lol, BUT anyways Are you near London, Ontario? I can fix your switch, I have dealt with this problem many times, the contacts under your button and housing are dirty and yougotta take it apart and clean it so you have good contact. Like I said if you are near me, just drive to me and Ill fix it for you free of charge.

Thanks I appreciate it but I live in Niagara Area. I will try cleaning the contacts. Do you think if I blow it with the air compressor that should do it?

Thanks again for the offer
