Driver's side power window not working.

Another issue with my wife's cavalier. Her front driver's side power window is not working. She has a 4 door, 2002 2.4L cavalier and the other 3 windows work fine. Unfortunately, the one she needs the most is not working. She has the kind where the controls for the windows are in the middle, not on the windows themselves. Anyway, if you guys have any ideas on what I can check or why just the one window isn't working, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank You!

The window motor could have gone. I remember I needed to replace the motors on my 2000 Z24 convertible and it seems like my 03 window motors will need replaced soon too. They don't seem like reliable parts to me.

Thanks for the quick response. Are they really hard to replace? I've been doing some reading since posting this and it seems like it's a pain to replace them. Are there any detailed instructions somewhere that would explain what to do? Thanks.

I think it would be best if you went out and bought a Haynes repair manual. It will be specific to your vehicle and will always come in hand! There will be step by step instructions plus pictures of this procedure! They really aren't that bad to replace. I would suggest pulling the door panel off and taking a look! If you can't figure it out then you should probably get the manual. It is less than 20 bucks and will be a lifesaver. Plus if you take it somewhere they will over charge you for the easy labor!
