New indy pace car cluster, plug and play for 2000-2005 impala's

i just purchased a brand new plug and play indy pace car cluster but the guy I purchased it from says that everything will work when pugged in but there may be a good chance that the oil sending unit will have to be changed because my base model impala came with a light so i will have to change the sending unit to make the gauge for the oil pressure gauge to work, can anyone tell me where the oil sending unit is located, how hard is it to change and approx price thanks

Theres more to it than just changing the sender. You would have to reprogram your Power train control module so watch pressure data from the sender. Then seeing it's a base (I'm not 100% sure) The Body Control Module might also be programmed to ignore that information. If so you would have to have a new BCM programmed to accept that information and pass it to the Cluster.
