Chevrolet Spark proves to be India’s favourite
The effervescent Chevrolet Spark has proven to be a favourite with the Indian car buyers in April 2008, logging a commendable sales growth of 66 per cent over the corresponding period last year. At a time when the car market has turned sluggish due to high lending rates, volatility in the stock market and rising inflation rate, General Motors India has registered a sales growth of 24.3 percent in April 2008, compared to the corresponding period last year. It sold 5,563 units in April 2008 against 4,474 units during the same time last year.
