Question airbag light on 1995 silverado

my truck has a airbag light on, and I´m wondering If someone knows if this system has a diagnostic port, were I could jump a wire to obtain trouble codes, just like ECM, or if it should be done with a scanner? Thanks.

Re: airbag light on 1995 silverado

You need a SIR/airbag capable scanner to get the code.
AZ does not do air bag codes.
Sir /air bags repairs are best left to a professional for repair.
They can save your life ot take in in a split second.
If the light is on your air bag system is shut down and will not work in a crash.
