HELP: 95 blazer issue

Hi, I am having an issue with my 95 Blazer and I'm trying to get it fixed asap. I tried searching for oil line info on here but i noticed a few posts about the 95 Blazer being different than other years so i thought I would make my own thread so I don't screw it up.

Basically the previous owner of my blazer for some reason had a zip tie holding some lines together near the oil line. Over the years the zip tie basically sawed the line in half and it completely let go today. The Line is cut in two and its the oil cooler line running from the rear oil pan to the oil filter (not going to the radiator).
Can anyone help me on how to replace this line? Since only the line is broken do I need to replace the connections also or is it possible to only replace the line? Also do I have to buy the line at the dealer or is it possible to get the lines from an autoparts store? and if so which line should I get?

Basically anything you can do to help me and walk me through this as best as possible would be great!
Thanks for your help!

Re: HELP: 95 blazer issue

The complete line assembly has to be replaced. Make sure you get the seals at both ends also. I recently replaced mine with parts house version at half the price of the dealer.

The replacement is pretty straightforward. The assembly is attached on both ends with a 13mm head bolt and there's a support on the side of the block held on with a 10mm head bolt.

Depending on how old your motor mounts are, you may have to lift the motor for clearance to remove and reinstall the lines.
