The parking lights stay on all the time. I have replaced the headlight switch and the problem is still there. Seems funny that the parking lights will dimm with the dimmer control for dash light. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a bad relay or someone reversed a few wires. I know on most cherokees there is a timer on the headlights that keeps them on for like 30 seconds. I'd find the relay and clean the terminals. other than that, it's probably wiring
