Exclamation 4x4 Wont engange

Hello;

Lets see if we can knock another problem of the list here.

I go to used my 4 wheel drive cause we got a snow storm and the plows havn't been out yet.

I push the 4hi button. I hear the transfer case make a Click noise. The 4hi light come on solid. I go to drive and my front wheels won't pull.

I cannot get them to engage.

What should I try?

2003 GMC Sonoma ZR-5 Crewcab 4x4 (Awesome flame yellow color too )

Is it the controls with the auto button or just 4WH and 4WL and 2WD?
Does the front drive shaft lock in when in 4W drive?
Is the right front axel locking in in 4W drive?
