Help! Neutral Safety Switchmoo1716 03-06-2003, 05:11 PM I need help on how to bypass the neutral switch on a 1993 jeep cherokee. Car is currently stranded! drewston 04-01-2003, 12:05 PM make sure all of your under -dash electrical is connected good as well as connections under the hood. my friends car did that. the trans. was in fail safe mode...there was a loose connection. tenaciousa 10-17-2004, 08:59 PM You can start the vehicle by removing the starter relay and crossing a wire from the starter relay to the hot battery post (with the ignition 'on'). There are 5 posts on the starter relay, you will have to try the socket one hole at a time to see which one will work. Dale Aeppli 10-17-2004, 09:47 PM I need help on how to bypass the neutral switch on a 1993 jeep cherokee. Car is currently stranded! HI, CHECK OUT jeepin.com THEY HAVE ARTICLE ON CLEANING THE SWITCH DALE 99GS-TCONV 10-18-2004, 01:32 PM I have had a NSS problem with my 88 forever. I simply keep a screwdriver handy and if it gets to where I cannot play around with it in park and/or neutral I just jump across the starter with the screwdriver. Super easy if you have a lift because it's right there under the truck. I know it's not a fix but i will surely start it for ya. Josh Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
