UnKnown Clicking Noise

I am pulling my hair out with this damn problem and hopefully someone else here has dealt with it before to keep me from firebombing this damn car.

Now onto the problem.

1997 Riviera

The driver side seat doesn't work in anyway. No forward, back or tilt. There is a clicking sound which is coming from under the seat which lead me to believe it was the seat motor. However this clicking noise also happens when I put the car into reverse. While backing up it's click click clicking away until I put the car back into drive. It also happens when I first unlock the car with the keyless entry. When first unlocked when the interior lights are still on the car is clicking away. When I start the car it goes away....until I need to back up that is.

Has anyone out there dealt with a similar problem with their Riviera and if so what in the hell was it?

Not 100% sure, but I think there are 2 relays under your drivers seat.
