MGBs have no back seat! Is your car a MGBGT? gray gw 06-28-2008, 06:58 PM JOC Galway I had the same thing happen when installing a new lock assembly. I removed the backup light assembly and fabricated a light bulb, 1 1/2 or 12 volt, with just wires attached and put it through one of the holes.
