2000 Rav4 driver side window close very slowly or not at all sometime. Does anyone have this issue?

I do on my 97. I lubed the track with silicone spray to help with friction but It's coming down to a weak motor. I'll, eventually, have to replace the window motor before it fails completely. You may have to do the same thing to yours. Replace the window motor, I mean. First check to see if the glass itself is still on track or for exsessive movement. If you have either of those issues then there is more problems than just a weak window motor. You may have to replace the whole mechanism with the track. That involves removing the door panel. That's just worse case scenario. It may not be the case. Check it first. If you're not sure bring it to some one that will know better. You don't want to ruin any thing and end up replacing more than you want.
I've been a tech for a little over 20 years now, so, it's a little easier for me to do the work my self for my vehicles.
