Funk-O-Meter

Took my 94 Astro conversion to my mechanic for AC work and they added coolant, put in some leak detector fluid and found that the main problem was a "switch under the dash that cuts the ac on" that wasn't functioning because the wiring harness had come loose. All was well. Blowing cold. Then one day last week it just stopped being cold. All of the sudden. It blows but not cold.

So, I want to check that switch first as I suspect it's the problem again. So what switch where they talking about and where can I find it?

either the cycling switch on the accumulator (silver can) or the High pressure cut-off switch on the rear of the compressor
