I have the same problem! Is there a flapper in the duct work that is not working or is it an electrical problem?

Read this thread, it may be the same problem with the actuator motor.

I repaired this problem last month. The driver's side actuator was not working. Got 1 from the local wrecker for $8. Blows cold on both sides now. 2 of 5 for difficulty scale. You'll find it under the driver's side of dash next to the to the centre console.DIY and save the money for other things!
