Antenna has power and will go up but wont retract without a helping hand.

Re: Antenna Problems

Everyone I know who has that problem just unplugs the relay and leaves it up-- there are only generic aftermarket replacements available that I know of....

You may try somw wd-40 followed by a light oil like 3 in 1

Re: Antenna Problems

Eventually it just won't go up or come down. When mine quite working I just replaced it with a inside antenna and cut the old one down. I just think the car looks better with the antenna down. If you go to the stealership its over $200 dollars, so in my book as bcridd says only generic aftermarket ones are available.

Re: Antenna Problems

I got it from advance autoparts. U have to do a little splicing because it requires a power source. I mounted mine behind my mirror. The reception is not as good as the power antenna but its still decent. It really depends on were u place it at and u also will need a gm adapter if you have a stock radio. I wouldn't suggest it unless u wanna get into something. I just wanted to do a project thats why I did it.

Re: Antenna Problems

What about replacing the rear windsheild with a windsheild from a later 90's model lesabre that has the antenna built into it?

Just a thought.
