Flywheel Resurfacing

Hi, installing a clutch from Perfection Clutch (MU721201) in an '02 Lancer (2.0L), took the flywheel to my local machine shop to have it resurfaced, they can't get the dowel pins out, and even if they could, they don't know if the can resurface it anyway. What has anyone done in the past? The car has about 100k on it, and the old clutch was pretty much baked to flat. Thanks.

Re: Flywheel Resurfacing

I just talked to Perfection Clutch (where the clutch came from), they said dual mass flywheels aren't recommended to be resurfaced, just replaced. So, I guess it's decision time, whether the old one is bad enough to replace or just clean up and reuse. Got any ideas for aftermarket flywheel? No power adders going on the car in the future, maybe some small upgrades, but nothing major.
