paint, or clear coat with millions of small cracks. why?

Hi. sprayed a an area of my car with a can of acrylic paint. did a couple of coats, then sanded it back lightly then went ovr with a clear coat. the area looked fine until slowely over time it started to form millions of small cracks in the clear coat. it looks like it is shrinking, but its just forming small cracks lik a few mm long. can anyone please help why or what to do.
thank you

Sounds like a chemical reaction. Make sure the clear you used is compatible with the acrylic.
