Re: Need Serious Help!

Hey There! Don't know if this will be any help but I had the same thing happen to my 2000 GA GT. It was right after I had purchased the car so I just took it back to the dealer. They had found chew marks through parts of my plug wires and some relay wires. Some rodent had gotten in there and chewed through the wires. New set of wires and the car worked great!

I would replace the coil pack(s) that you know are bad, at the very least you can eliminate that as a possible cause for the "lugging" up hills. It could also cause a rough idle.

If the coil pack(s) doesn't fix the problem, check that the IAC motor is clean and moving freely.
