Hose to air intake from exhaust manifold

Hey the other day I went to get my 1988 Silverado smogged and the guy said it wouldnt pass because Im missing a part. Its a part from the exhaust manifold to the air intake housing. I was wondering if anybody knows exactly what type of hose this is and where I can find it.

Re: Hose to air intake from exhaust manifold

Go to an auto parts store and tell them just that and they will have one. Just measure the inside diameter. It is the heated air duct.

Re: Hose to air intake from exhaust manifold

junkyard will have billions of them

also try a heating and cooling shop

they may have something that small

possibly

if not then make one out of some kind of aluminum flexible stuff

im sure glad theres no emissions testing or inspections here

since 1982 or so

good luck
