99 Jimmy rear bearingMamuSpral 04-26-2008, 06:23 PM Hi My rear brakes dust guard is all broken up and I am looking to change it. However, it looks like I need to take out the rear bearing assembly. What kind of puller do I need to remove this on the 4wd. Thanks for any input. maxwedge 04-26-2008, 08:27 PM You need to remove the axles to do this, but check with a Napa or Carquest store, Dorman makes a 2 piece backing plate to avoid this procedure, I think they have them for your truck.
