Power Window Troubles

I replaced the front passenger window regulator and motor but it seems the window is very hard to go up and the new motor soon overheated and quit. Is there a way to align the window in the track or a good lubricant to improve performance?

Re: Power Window Troubles

Make sure the glass isn't binding the channels first, even lube should not make enough difference against the force of the motor, any kind of silicone spray or jelly will help, but something else is wrong.
