AC Electrical Problem

This is an old problem I've periodically work on for several years. The Ac started shuting down then coming back on after several minutes then shut down for good. Had the AC checked, they said it was OK apart from no power. When the AC is switched on the engine idles up but there doesn't seem to be any current getting to the clutch. Tried switching some relays and little things like that. Not totally sure they were the correct releys even tried putting power directly to the clutch and I don't think that engaged at the time. These thing have some really out there curcuits so I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.

AC is not my strong suite. Maybe the wiring is just plain bad and the wiring inside the sheath is rotted. Try and make sure you use the correct relays and they are connected correct if you switched those.

I will try to contact someone more knowledgeable I know and see if they have any ideas. It might be a week or so though.
