From what i understand.....The Lesabre comes standard with a Passenger tire. Strauss Auto has recommended a tire for my car but it is a "Touring" tire . What is a touring tire?

Thanks Hotz28. So in that chart, would the OE tire identifid by green on the chart represent the Passenger tire in which is currently on my car?

If your tires are standard OE tires, then yes, the green area would represent what the factory would consider “ideal” for the LeSabre you have. There are so many variables to consider when selecting a tire and it really depends on how the customer wants his car ride, sound, handle & traction to perform. Personally, I prefer touring tires on my Ultra because of the added benefit of quietness, handling, traction and tread wear. Of course, tires are like oil, everyone has a different opinion about what is best for their car.

I like a smooth quiet cushy ride. Do the sidewalls bubble out on touring tires like they do on the OE tires? I like how the bubble shape absorbs the shocks of the road.

If this is what you like, stick with what you have. Touring tires will have a firmer sidewall and have less of a "cushy ride", however, they will handle better and respond quicker.

Thanks HotZ28....I went with the Goodyear Assurance Comfortred. Good move....these tires are the best i ever rode on
