p1200 after head gasket replacement
I replaced the head gaskets on my 96 3.1 and am now getting a solid flashing light with a 303 misfire code and a pending p1200. I can't find much info on the p1200 other than "P1200 - Injector Control Circuit" Any idea of what to look for or where to start on that one?

Re: p1200 after head gasket replacement
Yes, check the injector electrical connector at number 3 cylinder. Might have to pull the upper intake again, but you should be ok to reuse the gaskets. I bet you'll find your problem is either unplugged injector or wiring to it got pinched off. Common mistake.

Re: p1200 after head gasket replacement
Yep, thats what I'm thinking too. checked the plug for fouling, clean. Checked for spark, good. Ran the emmision sniffer up the tail and under the engine compartment, no raw fuel or emission codes.
Guess im going to pull off the top tomorrow unless anybody has any other ideas.

Re: p1200 after head gasket replacement
You guys are good: following an UIM and LIM gasket job, I got the flashing SES light, with codes P0306 (cylinder 6 misfire) and P1200. After checking here, I found the #6 fuel injector wire unplugged. Duh. Ran fine after that...

Re: p1200 after head gasket replacement
It happens and is a simple fix. I'm 99.99% sure that was the issue for ericn too, although he has not responded back to let us know the outcome.
