Re: 2003 S-10 4.3 vortec FUEL FILTER CHANGE 93,000 mlies

Follow the fuel lines etween the front of fuel tank and back of engine on left inner frame.

Good 5/8 brake line wrench and a wrench to fit the fuel filter nut.
Some 3/4 and some a hair bigger in metric size.

Some fuel fliters have a qiuck coupler on on end.
If so just squese the plastic clips and pull off.

But use caution when taking the lines off.
Disable fuel pump and let engine run untill it dies before starting.
The are under some pressure or will always have gas run out.
No smoking or open flames and use eye protection and keep you eyes and mouth closed and you ears plugged.
Yes My son in-law got a ear full of gas one time.
He wound up jumping in the swimming pool to wash it out.
Good Luck
