1999 Blazer Seat Belt

I have a 99 Blazer 4-door. I have the 60-40 fold down bench in the back. The driver's side seat belt reciever no longer works, it will not latch the belt when I try to put it in. Before I dig into how to get it out, does anyone know. Can you get to the connection to the seat without removing the seat? Where is the connection? Is it a special bolt? Thanks for any help!

Re: 1999 Blazer Seat Belt

On a '97, when you fold the seat down, lift the hinged plate that's behind the seat back and you should see the seatbelt mounting setup. Look for that on your '99.
Seems like the bolt was a big Torx bolt but since the car was totalled and is now gone, I can't get you a specific size.
