1810 code

I have a p1810 code on my Bravada. Searched on here & saw it's a pressure switch malfunction. Saw that someone changed the filter & fluid & code went away. My question is: Would the transmission shift funny like it's slipping if the pressure switch was bad. Last 2 months the transmission would shift funny & the wife noticed it only did it when the fuel tank was below 1/2. I know that there's a fuel pressure problem with her car & was going to replace the fuel filter. Now this morning the check engine light came on & got the 1810 code. Transmission is also leaking now. It's under warranty so the dealership will handle the trans problem.

Re: 1810 code

yes any engine running or transmission sensors can make the transmission shift strange.
Or if leaking low fluid will cause problems and burn up transmission.
Get the to fix it while inder warranty.
Good luck

Re: 1810 code

It pertains to Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch trouble with lots of transmission/computer interchange that got me lost on the diagnosis in 15 seconds of reading. I'm very happy you have warranty.
