93 JCG hesitates, sputters when accelerating

This problem just started yesterday. When I'm taking off from a stop light, sign, etc., the car will start coughing and popping really bad, and moving very slowly. Usually, after I get across the intersection, it clears up and the car runs fine as long as I don't mash on the accelerator, which causes it to start popping again. Last year around this time I replaced a whole bunch of front end sensors, because it was doing almost the same thing, but continously. Ended up needing a new timing chain. I'm thinking it has to be someting with the fuel delivery system. Had a complete fuel system cleanout around this time last year as well. Any ideas?

Did you figure out what the problem was? I have a 93 jeep doing the same thing. It has new cap, rotor, plugs, throttle position sensor, and the fuel pump is 1 year old.
