97 clutch problems

i just baught a 97 cavalier and the guy told me it needed a new slave cyl. but i have been driving it for about a week and a half and it has worked great and just tonight i got in it and the clutch did not engage until it was on the floor. i am not loseing fluid or anything is there a way to adjust it ?? i am gonna try and bleed it in the morning. any advice will be apprecated
