Transponder key???

Is the Transponder key the only key that will work in a 99 Expy? I only have one and refuse to go to the "stealership" for another. How can I get dups?

Only key that works - yes
Option - ebay
Suggestion - a spare key is cheaper than a locksmith.
Another option - Send your wife/girlfriend into the dealership. Have her act upset that she lost the key and your going to be REALLY mad. I've heard of parts guys feeling sorry and giving away a key. Even programing for her. Worth a try.

Thumbs up keys

ebay is a great place. I lost mine in the snow. Have auto starter and found out I can only have 2 keys so no spare. But got 4 keys and 2 transponders at a very good price on ebay. I think he was fron South Carolina. Also my alarm guy reprogramed the keys for free. Watch out you can screw up the programming and your truck will die and FORD will fix it for around $500.
