Honestly wasn't that hard josh.
1) Chock the rear tires and break the nut loose on both cv shafts and tap with punch to loosen.
2) Jack car up and off the ground and place safely on jack stands and disconnect battery. Remove tires & Get yourself a nice large tarp and protect your garage floor from the unavoidable mess.
3) Unbolt the struts from the steering knuckles.
4) Snake the cv shaft out of the steering knuckle.
5) Remove CV shafts from transmission and catch the fluid that is loss. ( auto tranny will be about 1/2 quart until you start lifting the motor and the fluids inside rotate around and spill out the passenger side output shaft. Manual will be a total loss of fluids.)
6) Disconnect coolant hoses from motor. You'll loose all your coolant as well.
7) Disconnect fuel lines
8) Disconnect Power steering pressure and return lines
9) Disconnect down pipe from exhaust and rear O2 sensor from engine harness
10) Disconnect transmission shift linkage ( single cable if auto and both shift forks if manual)
11) Disconnect the main engine harness from interior body harness and the fan as well. This main harness connection, there is an 8 or 10mm bolt which holds them together, don't just try and pry them apart. Lol. Its easier to do if you remove the mounted bracket its held to the frame with.
12) Figure out your plan of removal next, whether it be from out the top or bottom. Going out the bottom require the sub frame to be dropped if you don't remove your radiator and a/c condenser to slide it out straight forwards. There are 6 large bolts that go through the frame and you also need to unbolt your steering rack from the sub frame as well. So if you can go from above, do it.
13) Strap your cherry picker and load leveler to the motor and support it.
14) Remove your lower dog bone mount as it really doesn't do a whole hell of a lot but dampen torque which is why poly ones kick ass.
15) Remove the 4 bolts which go through the driver side of the front tire well that bolt the transmission mount to the frame.
16) Unbolt the transmission mount from the transmission itself.
17) Unbolt the the 2 main bolts holding the upper motor mount to the motor itself. ( the motor should be fully supported by cherry picker now.
18) Completely remove the upper engine mount from frame with 15mm socket and the 2-3 nuts holding it all in place.
19) Get the engine out of the car. Take your time, this isn't a race.
