Are the 3EE problems only from the factory? Or even if rebuilt?
I was just wondering if you guys know if the valve stem seals and such problems with the 3EE engine were "factory" problems or will it happen even if the engine is rebuilt with new components?

Did a partial rebuild on my 92 about 65K ago and no oil usage at all (Knock on wood) since then. The oil rings were collapsed, the valve guide seals were shot as well but the bearings and cylinder walls looked brand new even after 193K
