I have an annoying rattle most of the time coming from the tailgate area. Does anyone know if there is an easy fix to this?

try lubing up the joints really good. Sometimes it helps it. It's just the design that makes it rattle. thats why american built cars are crap. everything but the engine is crap in the car. Other than it looks good. hehe

Jason: I purchase the popular mechinics service cd at a kmart, in there it say that there was a recall for the noisy. Basically they put some shims under where the body meets the chassie. Anyway get to a dealer have them look it up and fix it.

if yoru rodeo has the swinging tire carrier, than that is prob the cause of your rattling, i know thats what mine is from
