Question Headlight Problems...Any Ideas?

I know there were a couple of posts about headlight problems, but nothing mentioned helped my problem.

I have a 96 Cavalier (2.2 if it matters) that until last night had only LO Beams, and the Driver Side HI Beam working. So last night the Driver LO goes out. I figure bulb, right, so new bulb in. While I'm at it I check to see if I can find the problem with the HI beam. I do, a wire was corroded through. I fix it, heat shrink and all.... AND now I have HI and LO on the Pass Side and nothing on the Driver Side. LO and HI quit working.

Any Ideas on what happened? I checked fuses and relay and all in working order.

Thanks in advance

likely some corrosion/ break somewhere else that you distubed while working on wiring. The only thing to do would be check all the wiring harness if you have not already done so.
