This code has been popping up p0113 - the air intake temprature sensor
i own a 1997 chevy cavalier z24 auto.
When this light comes on every gear jerks after
i just bought a new Air charge temprature sensor cleared the code and put the new one in and connected it again this code is still popping up and shifting hard any other ideas on how to get rid of this?
return that sensor and ask for a new one. If it was ever dropped or mis handled it will malfunction. Seen it happen multiple times.
If that doesn't cure it, get a voltmeter and check resistance across the terminals to see if its a crimped wire somewhere.

Did you get 4.6 to 5 volts on the tan wire, (signal wire), ? If you did this indicates a bad sensor. If not then you have a short to ground somewhere along the signal wire to the PCM. Also check the sensor ground .
