2000 Ranger Dead speedometer and rough shifting

On the interstate and speedometer drops, ABS light comes on O/D OFF light blinks. Everythingelse was fine until I slowed and shifting was very jerky.
Replaced ABS speed sensor and reset OBC. Now I have no speedometer and a steady O/D OFF light.

Need Help, Need ideas, Need my truck!

Re: 2000 Ranger Dead speedometer and rough shifting

Check the fuses for the vehicle. Did you disconnect something when installing the sensor. Check the pick up for the speedometer usually on the tailshaft.
Clean the connection for this item.
