a friend and i got together and decided to make a bolt in kit.heres the results
notice the cutoff like factory
ignore the dates on these
well be selling full kits that are plug and play with instructions that come with your choice of hid light colors and new headlight housings for $275 shipped to your door.
If you're going to properly retrofit HID's into a car, use projectors. Reflector housings are not designed for those. I don't care how low you aim the lights to prevent blinding oncoming traffic, that still doesn't make them any safer. Any 15 y/o kid can put some HID's in their car. It takes a real stand-up person to go the extra step to safely equip them with projectors.

I'm sorry, but that is not a cutoff at all. That is all glare. This on the otherhand, is a cutoff:
Try taking a picture that far back and see if you have similar results.

and what setup is that?i bet its factory.everyone complains "oh thats not cutoff" and they post the same picture as you did...which are all factory lightings.
No idea, wouldn't matter either way because that is what a projector does. It creates a proper beam cutoff like shown.
Here's a video that explains why it is illegal to put HID's in a non-projector housing.

Here's some more comparison shots:

That is what the first picture is of. The person put Acura TSX projectors into their 2003 Dodge Neon. That's a proper retrofit. It doesn't have to be an aftermarket projector, in fact OEM ones are the best to use.
Here's a retrofit on 93-97 Firebird lights:
and here's the cutoff

Not the greatest cutoff, but that's because he modified the cutoff shield.

I think it looks nice, but I know that my dad would hate you for blinding him.

I just hate those blue lights period. People have been driving without them for years. Why do people all the sudden need to be "safer." Call me old fashioned.
