2005 Sebring wheel rubbing problemspark363 03-17-2008, 11:39 AM My wife's 2005 Sebring vert developed this new problem this weekend. We loaded it up for a trip and on the way we noticed that the right rear wheels would bottom out and rub on the fender when we hit a bump or a quick depression. There was weight in it (me, wife-front, daughter-rear) but we are average weight people and it shuold not have been acting like it was overloaded. The car has 38000 on it, I thought it might be the shocks, but am wondering if anyone else had or heard of this problem. spark363 07-08-2008, 08:23 PM bump Hungrycat7 07-08-2008, 09:03 PM Could have a leak in the rear struts. . . Meaning they would be bad and needing some attention. Or you said you had loaded it up for a trip. How much stuff you have in the trunk? When you unloaded it did the car come back up? spark363 07-09-2008, 04:14 PM Alot in the trunk. It came back up after we emptied out, but it still rubbed on a good sized depression in the road.
