'96b sunfire GT

I have a 96 sunfire gt that starts and runs fine first start of the morning. It drives just fine around the city unless i have been driving for some time at which time it will act up. If i come to a stop for any reason and the car is at idle.. upon take off the car will sputter and act like its either starving for gas or flooding out.. then it will stall out. It will also stall if the car just sits at idle for a length of time. It will start but stall out again.. and will only crank over without restart after that..It only does this once the car is warm. The spring and summer months are the worst times for this to happen too.. if i get to my destination and shut the car off for a bit, come back to it and restart to leave, it will start ok but then sputter and cough and burp and stall out...I ultimately have to leave it for a great period of time. if i leave it till the car is cooled off it will start and again drive till i have to stop again.. the spark plugs were changed, the coil packs were changed.. and it isnt throwing any codes.. no dash lights flash, etc...any ideas as to what the problem might be?...Also the exhaust needs work, but the problem existed b4 the exhaust problem..
